Reflective Practice as a tool for developing International Management Competence – IIPM Chandigarh

IIPM Chandigarh in coordination with Sheffield Hallam university organized a seminar on Reflective Practice as a tool for developing International Management Competence where session gave an insight on examining ones own behavior.

Prof. Chris Duggan stressed on the importance of strategic management and how to exploit the unique set of resources and capabilities that a firm possesses and to continuously develop these resources. The strategic capability defines the possibility of the firm to use its value generating resources in order to create a privileged position comparative to its competitors. Under these circumstances, competency based management is an approach that recognizes that the most valuable asset of an organization are its people and the competencies they bring to work each day. It provides a strategy to fully exploit and extend those resources for the benefit of both the organization and the individual. It was over all quite a enriching session for all the students.

Sonakshi Sinha
Sonakshi Sinha has already had plenty of media attention coming her way by virtue of being veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha's daughter, and also her debut opposite superstar Salman Khan. During media appearances, her prime concern however was to ensure 'Dabangg', was spelt correctly, before anything else! When asked if she missed being a part of the item number featuring Malaika in the movie, Sonakshi claimed to doubt her ability to pull off the jhatka-matkas. Well, let's see if this still holds true after a couple of films!

Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor, it seems, is quite eager to get rid of the single-and-available tag. His father, Rishi Kapoor, has started renovating their Pali Hill bungalow for his son and his future family. Ranbir, however, hasn't found the right girl yet, but he and Priyanka Chopra have reportedly been sharing some great vibes since the beginning of the 'Anjaana Anjaani' shoot. The duo were seen enjoying long drives together in the red vintage car specially designed for the film. Their excuse: both love the car! Erm, shared love to mutual love should not take long on the odometer!
